    When it was about time for her to make her decision to further her tertiary studies, Dr. Jessie Chung, ND.,MD. decided to end her youngest sister’s agony from 10 years’ bout of epilepsy. She flew to the US and chose to study Natural Medicine, Nutrition and Oriental Medicine. During her stint in the US, she had the chance to learn from world renowned experts like Dr. Bernard Jensen, Dr. Ken Young and Dr David Choo.

    In 28th Nov 1997, she heard a gentle yet familiar voice, “You are to embark another chapter of your life, fulfilling a greater calling – that is starting a health supplement company and expand it nationwide, giving health seminars throughout the country, whilst conveying love and health to others”. It was a challenging mission; with so much to plan alone: finances, manpower, locations, marketing etc. Nevertheless, clinging gallantly to her novel Mission, she ceased the operation of her naturopathic clinics and recruited a new team for her new endeavor. With the help of a close friend, she devised a marketing plan to be proposed to her father and raised the initial capital. Finally, in 1999, she founded Natural Health Farm (NHF).

    It started off as a MLM (multi-level marketing) company, and very quickly grew to over 50,000 distributors / members within two years. In 2003, the company was enjoying brisk business when Dr. Jessie, ND.,MD. dropped a bombshell. She wanted to change the MLM business model into retail. The reason was to improve the visibility of her products on the shelves and reduce products prices to make them more affordable. To stand out in the competitive market, she started training a group of nutritional consultants and assigned them in the retail outlets to provide professional nutritional consultations and advise to the customers. The brand went through ups and downs and was grateful that we manage to build a solid foundation. To date, we are operating 60 retail & franchise outlets in Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, USA, Singapore & Brunei, sharing the same vision & mission to help people live healthily and blissfully. Besides, NHF has also branched into nutritional education, manufacturing and organic farming.
